Cornell School District parents are invited to participate in several free training sessions

Cornell Teachers Awarded Grants

Congratulations to Mrs. Rachel McVeagh, Ms. Sarah Sleasman, and Mrs. Miriam Klein for being awarded AIU3 OnRamp Grants. Mrs. McVeagh’s grant will provide teachers with prizes for completing digital choice boards. Ms. Sleasman’s grant will give access to Spanish language texts for students in her Spanish Classes. Mrs. Klein’s grant will be used to encourage students in grades 3 through 8 to “unplug” from computers and to read and explore hands-on activities. For more details, click on the link above.

Cornell Recognized for Closing the Gender Gap in AP Computer Science Principles

Cornell has earned the College Board AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award for achieving high female representation in AP Computer Science Principles. Schools honored with the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award have expanded girls’ access in AP Computer Science courses. Congratulations, Susan Dunning, Cornell HS Computer Science Teacher!

Remote Learning Day - Tuesday, February 9

Due to the winter weather conditions the Cornell SD will have a remote instruction day on Tuesday, February 9. Students please check your email and Google Classroom sites for connection information. Parents of younger students please check your notification apps (DoJo or Remind). Stay warm!

Thursday, December 17 - Remote Learning Day

Due to the winter storm Thursday, December 17 will be a remote learning day for all Cornell students. Cornell students are expected to follow their full-day schedule for Thursday.

Esports Team Moves on to Post Season

In only their second season, Cornell’s Esports Team has qualified for the playoffs in Rocket League. They will be playing Penn Manor High School (Lancaster, PA) on Tuesday, December 1. Good luck Coach Bogue and team!
