Friday, October 2 - Remote Learning Day for Students

Friday, October 2 will be a remote learning day for all students. No students will be physically at school, but students are expected to participate remotely.
Teachers will be communicating expectations to students over the upcoming days for October 2. Afternoon sessions students will be connecting in the morning session. This is a nice opportunity for students to connect with their entire class.

Home Football Game

The Cornell Raider football team will be competing against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart tomorrow (Friday) evening.

Due to the current situation, the Cornell School District is only allowed to admit 250 total people into our football games. That includes all football players, coaches, workers, cheerleaders and band members. Due to the 250 limit we cannot admit any spectators into the football game at this time. The Cornell School District will continue to work with the Allegheny County Health Department as the season progresses, and any changes will be communicated.

For any Cornell football player parent who is attending the game the Cornell School District is requiring the following safety precautions are followed:

Face coverings are required at all times.
Maintain social distancing and sit every other row.
No concession stands will be open.
No visiting fans will be allowed in.
Restrooms will be open with social distancing implemented.

Cornell School District will continue to follow all local, state, PIAA, and WPIAL guidelines and we appreciate your continued and ongoing support.

The game will also be recorded and posted on the CHS-TV Youtube channel. A link will be posted in the coming days.
