On Friday, December 8th, Cornell High School Computer Science teacher, Susan Dunning, was recognized at Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center's Finley Fest with a First Penguin Award. Dunning, who personifies lifelong learning has brought many new opportunities to Cornell students, including the new cybersecurity course. The "First Penguins" awards recognize a person's willingness to be the first penguin to take the plunge into rough waters.
