The Cornell School District contracts with The Nutrition Group to provide food services to our students. The Nutrition Group understands the importance of proper nutrition and the role it plas in a child's ability to perform in school. They strive to provide our students with healthy and nutritious meals that meet or exceed USDA guidelines.
The district participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for student meals. This means all students in that attend the district receive free meals (breakfast and lunch).
Cornell also participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP - At Risk Afterschool Program) and serves dinner to students staying past the regular school day for any activity, club, or sport. The program meal is served at approximately 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday when school is in session.

PrimeroEdge Cafeteria Program (Point of Service)
The Cornell School District is utilizing PrimeroEdge for the Point of Service (POS) system in the cafeteria. Parents can view student accounts and make online payments using SchoolCafe within the POS system. You will need to create an acccount at www.schoolcafe.com/CornellSD
To set up a SchoolCafe account, you will need to use the name (exact spelling) and student ID for your child that is used in the student informaton system (SIS) used by the school.
Should you need to verify the spelling of your child's name in the SIS or obtain their ID number, please reference your PowerSchool account or contact the school office.

Meal Availability (Breakfast and Lunch)
Due to CoVid pandemic, students that reside in the Cornell School District (regardless of school of attendance) are eligible to recieve free meals (breakfast and lunch) through December 21, 2020.
If your child is attending Cornell Cyber Academy or attends another school, the Remote Students - Daily Meal Survey will need to be completed each day you plan to pick up meals. A survey will need to be completed for each child. Multiple children cannot be listed on the same survey.
The survey must be completed by 9:00 AM on days that you plan to pick up meals. Meals can be picked up at Cornell School District between 12:30 PM and 1:15 PM at Entrance 7 (Cafeteria).
Meals are only served on days when Cornell School District is in session.
If your child in not enrolled at Cornell, please list their SCHOOL OF ATTENDANCE in the Student ID Number question.
If your child attends "in person" classes at Cornell, a survey should not be completed. They will receive meals at school.
