The Cornell School District has created a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document that addresses the hybrid model of reopening. In a hybrid situation students will be on half-day rotations (half of the students in the morning, the other half coming in the afternoon). To help address this in a proactive manner the District created the FAQ document and it was recently revised. Attached is the latest version.

The Cornell School Board of Directors Approved a calendar revision for the 2020-2021 school year. The attached calendar, as well as a document with key dates is attached.

Attached is the summer programming reopening overview. Cornell SD believes these programs will provide a nice small pilot program for our fall reopening plan which will be approved in August.

The Cornell School District Board of Education has cancelled the Regular Voting meeting scheduled for July 16, 2020. The Workshop meeting scheduled for Monday, July 6 is still on and will be done via Zoom. Any individual interested in attending virtually should contact the superintendent, Dr. Aaron Thomas via email ([email protected]) before 6:00 pm on July 6 to receive information on connecting.

The Cornell School District will conduct the June 18 school board meeting virtually. Any resident who wishes to participate should contact the superintendent, Dr. Thomas by 6:00 pm on June 18 to register and get the virtual meeting information. Dr. Thomas can be contacted at [email protected].

Due to Zoom security measures all participants must be registered with the school before 6:00 pm or they will not be admitted into the virtual meeting.

The Cornell SD Picnic has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 8, 2020.
