Congratulations to Cornell High School social studies teacher, Mrs. Amy Palo for being selected to attend the digital George Washington Teacher Institute. The Great Experiment: George Washington and the Founding of the U.S. Government is a residential program, but due to COVID-19 precautions it will be conducted remotely. Mrs. Palo will learn from diverse primary sources, including artwork, place, and documents, that highlight the complexities of a man who embraced his responsibilities as a citizen, and whose contemporaries looked to for leadership.
